Crysta Snyder

Youth Program Supervisor

Crysta is the youth program supervisor at South Florida Wellness Network after being a wellness coach utilizing the tip model for the last 4 years. she supervises a team of dedicated youth peer specialists and coordinates the youth M.O.V.E (motivating other through voices of experiences) Broward chapter and the Broward youth re-entry program. After being born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware she moved to South Florida 8 years ago to pursue a recovery lifestyle. During her time here she found a new love for helping others and sharing her experiences surrounding mental health and substance abuse. She also is a strong advocate for the B.F.R.B. (body-focused repetitive behaviors) community and facilitates support groups in her professional and personal time. She is currently studying social work at Florida Atlantic university. Crysta is excited to utilize her experiences providing direct service to advocate for young people in our communities. She believes that the youth voice should be heard at all tables and investing in youth is investing in our future.
